Can ebay ship to post office instead of my address? - epicdorgon - 04-08-2014 06:22 PM

I'm staying in a motel for a while (long term) And I want to buy something from ebay, is it possible that I get the item shipped to the nearest post office instead of the motel's address?

Please help me, I'll choose the best answer.

If you have a P.O. Box at the post office then yes.

That depends on the seller, if you have a post office box, and if the PO BOX is a verified address.

Many will, some won't.

"eBay" doesn't ship anything anywhere. You're dealing with millions of individual sellers.

eBay prohibits sellers from changing the shipping address, and sellers lose seller protection if they do so. DO NOT ASK. You can change the shipping address during checkout.

I've stayed at hotels and motels plenty. Most will accept packages on behalf of their guests, especially if you ask them about it in advance. Is there any reason not to get it shipped to the motel's address? Simply provide the seller your name, the motel's name, and the motel's address. For example:
