What websites give computers viruses? - caroline91394 - 04-08-2014 06:28 PM

My dad just got our computer all cleaned out by professional people because there was no way they would get rid of the viruses that were on it. It works so well now and I don't want my family to mess it up again. What are the really bad websites to go on? Is facebook bad? I know that ultimateguitar.com(guitar tabs) is bad, but are there any websites that will hurt our computer again?
we have Nortan and things come up on the screen if there is a risk...but we have always had that and our computer still crashed. Can anyone just give me a list of websites that are bad? just a few common ones?

millions of ppl go on facebook, how can it be bad....?

pretty much all websites are fine especially well-known ones, just sites that look spammy...you can tell when it looks spammy or not...

really the only sites with viruses are the ones you click on or type in by accident, not known ones...

eg if you type in youbtube.com instead of youtube.com

thats how they get ya...

Get McAfee security with site advisor. It tells you which sites are bad.
