Why are Yahoo site statistics counting the host page visits? - Richard - 04-08-2014 06:28 PM

When I check my page updates Yahoo counts my page visits. Since these are not visitors the count is inflated. Can this be fixed?

The Site Statistics tool reports all visits to a website. At present, it has no way of differentiating between your visits and visits by others. For more information about Site Statistics, visit http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/webhosting/gstat/index.html

If you are interested in more in-depth tracking, you can try using Access Logs. Details about Access Logs can be found at http://help.yahoo.com//l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/webhosting/logs/
