1. Scan your computer. suggestions are avast free, malwarebytes free, and superantispyware free. remove anything if they find anything.
2. If you are using google chrome, you can add an "ad block" extension to remove ads when you surf the internet.
3. Good luck!

You probably downloaded adware. Go into your toolbars/add-ons and disable any suspicious looking ones. Then download Microsoft Security Essentials and scan your computer to detect any viruses and remove them.

Download Malwarebytes and scan your system. Use AdBlock on your browser. Stay away from malicious links.

download google chrome:

Hopefully this will help. Smile

I use malaware bytes also. I run it often, it's great and it's FREE! Just be sure when you do a complete scan that you "see results" make sure all the threats are checked and "remove" them. (My mom kept running this scan and just closed it after running the scan, it's easy to miss that you have to delete them)

My spouse and i recommend utilizing http://www.vpnpower.net in order to unblock websites. I've been using them since four years.
