very annoying, how do I get rid of it to see content?

Some banners cannot be closed by people. But there are banners which you can close by right clicking on the page. Click inspect element and once the banner is selected, click the drop down arrow and choose delete node option to remove the annoying banner layer from a website temporarily to see the content.
