quibids.com does it work? - Lauren - 04-08-2014 06:30 PM

I really would like to know. Any help or comments or reviews would be highly appreciated. Love the site but scared to actually purchase. Any help?

Kind of ... it ends up costing way more than people think. First it costs to join. But the biggest thing people don't realize is that you also have to pay for the bids you don't win. You might finally win one. But you've paid for several others in the meantime.

It is definitely legit, but you have to understand that if you don't win the bid, you don't get the money back
You could be really lucky and win something with just one bid or you could be spending a lot of money
It's also addicting, like "one more try, one more try, it's still worth it if i just bid one more time"

Just bear in mind it's as much a casino as an auction, for every winner getting something at a ridiculously low price there are probably about 10 who big almost as much with nothing to show for their money.

There's a $60 sign up deposit required.

Money lost in an auction can be applied toward a buy-now option, which ends up being near the normal retail price.
