you forgot your phone at home.. do you go back and get it?
your at home watching tv (how many hours of tv do you watch a week?) and something or someone peaks your interest.. what do you do ignore it or wait to find out that information. or if there is a laptop or phone do you look it up? everyone is different but ask a large crowd of people this and see what their answers are.
web, mobile, and TV.. they all work together to give you the most effect advertising campaign.
also social media helps that if your content is good.
do you watch youtube.. what about twitter? or facebook. grant you not EVERYONE is on those as much as people want you to think but a large % of the population is. why shouldn't you reach out to them.

If you want to advertise your business then you get help of a SEO consultant or you can do it by yourself using Social Media and Blogging.

Ads on TV and on mobile devices often annoy people. So, I think social media sites is the best platform to advertise business and drive traffic to your website. My favorite social networks are Google+, Facebook and Pinterest.
