SEO plugins not recognizing text contained in widgets? - Vancity604 - 04-08-2014 06:34 PM
I am getting my website ready to go and the only thing I have left to do is the SEO. I have SEO plugins but the problem is that they aren't picking up any text that is contained in a widget. I have created content that contain keywords and internal links but none of the plugins will recognize the text.
The plugins I used were AIOSEO, Yoast SEO and SEOpressor....
What can i do to correct this?

Firstly, you should only be using one seo plugin - you're just confusing the search engines. Seo plugins are not designed for use with widget in sdebars.
Search engines don't look at sidebars for keywords although you can have links there. You need to have your keywords in pages and posts and that's why, say AIOSeo, enhances the basic post/page with additional requirements.
