When will google update page rankings for my site ? - Hypnotist - 04-08-2014 06:35 PM

I've had my site top page google for a few months and then ratings dropped to 5th page average. Now I've done a few on page seo and stuff.

However, as i google I still see the old title tags and descriptions and I'm guessing my site hasn't been indexed properly. Any suggestions to speed up the process ?

It might be your hosting company - some offer betters tools than others. Consider switching to something like HostGator or NiViDeX. The latter offers pretty good SEO tools.

Best of luck.

Google will look at sites every couple of weeks. However, Google have just changed their processes with ,000s of sites losing their rankings.

While search engine ranking is constantly being updated, Google Page Rank is only updated about 5 times a year, it's been quite a while since the last update.

May be your site got hit by the recent algorithm updates.
Go through your link profile and remove all the bad links pointing to your money site. After removing or cleaning your bad links, it might take few months to regain your rankings based on number of quality or authority sites links to your domain.

Hope it helps!
Thanks.

Google could take potentially up to a month to see the changes. I know I recently swapped my domain from http://www.website.com and it took about 3 weeks. I also pinged the site via pingler.com and pingomatic - doing so will help the search engines get you faster.

If you have Google Webmaster Tools installed on your website, (which is an absolute must for website owners that want to perform well) you can adjust the google bots crawl rate. Also you can submit a new site map, or re-index a certain amount of pages a month now with the fetch as google bot tool.

As far as page rank goes, that only happens every three or four months.
