I just got this phone like a week ago. It's a straight talk. I downloaded a couple things then out of no where the internet started being real slow, so I deleted a few of the apps and my internet is still slow!. And I was thinking of doing a factory reset or is there another way to fix my problem?

Are you using Antivirus software? If you are, then turn off it's automatic update option.
Clean your phone cache and also the browser cache regularly. And restart the device. Try keep free space on your phone memory..
Hope these help, if it doesn't work, do the factory reset.. As your phone is new, it's nothing bad to factory reset. Just backup your data before doing it.

It may be due to some Temporary files available at your mobile. Also you should your firewall setting and then correct it.
