How do i get rid of all those underlined words everywhere when i am on the internet? - anonymous bob - 04-08-2014 06:36 PM

I am not sure how it happened but I have words double underlined as a link everywhere. How do I get rid of this??
That is exactly what is happening Mako. And I am trying to post a screenshot also OMGitsljaz. Thanx for everyone's help

You cannot. I assume you are talking about a specific website or a few sites.
This is their way of making money. Instead of having countless number of ads on the sides of the page, they pick certain words and link them to an ad that relates to the word.

"I am not sure how it happened but I have words DOUBLE underlined..."
If yahoo answers did that an example would be they would underline "double" and advertise for double stuffed oreos(just an example haha)

Would you mind uploading a picture or screenshot of this. I don't really understand what you are saying. Added your question to watchlist.

Check the add-on, extensions, and/or plugins for your web browser. Remove anything ad related and anything you don't use. Remove all toolbars.
