Need to change what a search for a business sayszz? - Andrew Zimmerman - 04-08-2014 06:37 PM

Ok my father owns a store/ Exxon called zimmerman's sportscenter. We do sell gas and it is a Exxon, but our main thing is sellin live bait and tackle. Now when you google our store, the first thing that pops up that tells you it's rating and distance only says "zimmerman's Exxon" so nobody thinks it sells bait and tackle. How do I go about changing this to zimmerman's Exxon/ sportscenter or something like that? Since google has the post?

If its your own website, change the title page description and keywords on the index page via a html editor such as Frontpage.

If you have a FTP software such as Filezilla, it would be best to open your site using this program, go to the index page and open it to edit it in the html editor - look from "properties" usually under the tab "File".

Also, have you installed a xml sitemap and registered the site in both Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Tools.
