Will eBay suspend my acount....? - MRo - 04-08-2014 06:37 PM

I refunded a buyer their money, they wouldn't agree to cancel the transaction, and they are insisting on sending me money again and again until I send their item. They have threatened me in terms of "hurting my business", "leaving negative feedback to hurt my ratings", and "getting my account suspended". The funny thing is that I have a 100% buyer rating and theirs is 91%, with quite a few negative feedbacks listed.

Will my account actually get suspended because one buyer wants to report me? Even though I have refunded their money? I'm thinking that because this is the first flag I'll probably get, it won't be a big deal. And yes, I have reported them and blocked them from bidding/buying my items...what a huge mess!!!

You seem like a good, respectale business person. With a rating like that, I would trust you with my money. eBay, thankfully arrn't idiots, if they see the same account doing it, and you show them the evidence, they might be banned.

Hope this helps, good luxck!

Your account probably won't be suspended over a single incident. You do not state why you refuse to sell the item but not getting what you wanted out of it is not a reason to cancel the deal. That's why eBay lets you put a reserve on the listing.

Call eBay and talk directly to someone to get assistance! This buyer does not understand the rules.

You're lucky they threatened to neg you. That's called feedback extortion and it's grounds to get their feedback removed.

Since only one dispute can be opened per transaction, it's extremely unlikely you'll get suspended. I would ignore them as much as possible in hopes they will get bored and find another victim. Sorry you have to deal with this nut job.
