Pen pal safety question? - Zoey - 10-15-2012 08:35 PM One night in the early hours I couldn't fall asleep, so I decided to check out one of them chatrooms. I was just messing around untill I came across this guy who really interested me. He stated his age (24) which is 7 years older than me, but I still wanted to learn to know him. We exchanged emails and now we've been emailing eachother for two months. I gave him a fake email, so the only thing he knows about me is my first name, the country I live in, what I look like and what my hobbies are. On the other hand I do think that he is who he says he is, he gave me his real email adress and he has a facebook page. I've already made clear I do not intend to ever meet him in person, and if things get a little weird I can just cutt him off. Is this safe? - Black Sky - 10-15-2012 08:43 PM Never 100% safe, even if he is who he says he is. Just be careful. Skype him or something to make sure, and even then, don't give him anymore personal info. - Aaron - 10-15-2012 08:43 PM NO DO NOT SKYPE!!!!!! RETARDED IDEA.... break contact...... its too easy to make a Facebook and fake email address .........ever heard Chris Hansen????? from NBC..... a show called (To catch a predator)))) its all bad news if u want friends stick to people you can see |
