I just got a brand new desktop for $400 at Wal Mart and it seems to work well for the most part. Nothing appeared packaged, in fact, was brand new. When the computer does updates, it usually says "failure updating...". Also, it is a Windows 8 computer. I have four browsers installed, because one gave me issues getting into Facebook, and now when I try to visit Facebook in each browser, they just have a "Loading..." message and hardly ever get to the site. HELP!!!

Clear cache and delete cookies in your browser. I recommend Linux Mint.
