Google free domain hosting - Even Google does free websites themselves and gives templates to help build them - First you have to buy the Domain name - (what you want the website called) - it's pretty much a rental because it expires ownership in about 2 or 3 years and you have to renew it each time but it's easily possible. Or find someone in the Web-building / IT field to do it for you - I've done my own and did 1 for a customer and it's gone from none existant to the first page of google if looking in her county for her profession!

There are many free web site hosts these days, blog style sites can be assembled with no programming, it's more like filling in forms. Your at the whims of the host some lay claim to your content.

To be completely in control you need a paid hosting account and a unique custom domain name like abiodunWorks.com cost for a shared server account and name is $8 per month (you can convert to sterling) many of theses accounts are "unlimited" allowing as many different sites as you want, the only hard cost is an additional is about $12 a year for each added domain name. You can still have an esy to create blog on such an account, many hosts have easy installers for the industry standard Wordpress blog engine, used by approx. 17% of the top 1 million sites.

Yes. Anyone can have a website, even if you don't know anything about web design/development.

1. Use a free website host such as Webs or Weebly which allow you to create your own site by clicking and dragging features.

There are also a number of free blogging sites where you select a theme and simply type in you content.

2. Code your own website using HTML or CSS. You could also use a platform such as Wordpress (which is free to use and has plugins that you can use on your site)

3. Ask someone else to build a website for you.

With the first you can have a free website address. e.g. mysite@webs.com

With the second, there are some free host sites which will allow HTML/CSS and like with the first, you can have a free website address with that.

The other option with 2 and the option that applies to 3 as well is you can buy a domain name and pay to host your site.

After this you would then need to advertise your site (SEO).
