I know it depends on keywords, state of the website, etc, but on average what's considered too little and what's too much?

My option for that 20 hours for week. SEO has a lot of work so we need do to it as step by step.

Actually It depends on your work style. Some people need 2-3 hours and some need 6-7 hours. Because we need to do work step by step. Do not ever try to do work in bilk. It can hurt your website's presence. In my opinion we can spend 4-5 hours in a day which means 20-25 hrs in week which is sufficient for your websites.

We need do to it as step by step with strategy. Its take 20 hrs in week which means 4 hrs in a day of 5 working day.
