I have a protected account, so only those whose requests I've accepted can see my tweets.
However, now I don't want some of these followers to see my tweets any more. I already unfollowed them myself, but is there a way I can prevent THEM from seeing my tweets, short of blocking? Such as removing them from my followers list?

Block them by going to their profile and click on the gear button.
