Why can't I use a PaySafeCard on Steam? - Seth - 04-08-2014 06:48 PM

When I go to add funds to my Steam Wallet or purchase a game, I can't find a PSC as a payment option, however it is available for purchase in my country (Croatia) and I bought one, but on Steam I simply can't see it in the dropdown menu, there have been many reports of users not being able to use PSC for some strange reason... any help?
Steam already supports PSC, many other people (US, UK and some other countries) can see it in the dropdown menu, I can't. And there really is no reason for that, there isn't, because PSC is an online payment option world-wide.

The PSC card is not normal in the US or many other places. Steam would have to establish a relationship with the company - or they would have to do so with Steam. The same thing happens if you want to take Visa. The vendor pays Visa a fee to use Visa's services. Either Steam has to contact PSC or PSC needs to contact Steam. (Probably the latter unless Steam gets a whole lot of complaints of people wanting to use the PSC card, I mean thousands.)
