To simplify you view, about 97% of all web searches are made from Google Yahoo and Bing, with Google getting 67% of them, with the exception of certain search engines for specialty businesses, you generally only have to worry about ranking on the big 3.

ya kumar you are right there are many search engine in all over the world but all companies basically consider only Google because it's most popular in the search engines. with the help of google all companies gets mostly traffic by the google compare with the other search engines.
So please learn the google strategy and understand that.

SEO means Search engine optimization.Now a days it becomes a top most word to the webmaster and owner of a website .
SEO mainly two types one is(1)On page SEO which are done on a post or on page of a website when a content or article is written.
Second is (2)Off Page SEO which is done by doing by blog comment,indexing search engine,forum posting and Bookmarking on various bookmarking site.
