Duplicate content within a site can have a negative effect on ranking, although there are legitimate reasons for it happening, like a separate print formatted version, it's recommended that the canonical tag be used to mark the master copy of the content that you would prefer to be indexed, in order to resolve the conflict.

Hi

If you aware about latest google update then sure you will not copied the content. In panda update Google send all the website in spam due to copied content.

Hope you understood.

SEO is not about to promote copy content. First let me know why we need of contents? For Search Engine or Visitors? Of course visitors, if you have read Google SEO guideline they have clearly mentioned that make website considering visitors (customer) point of views. Do promotion being a customer of your service or product then I sure, you will have a clear vision of promotion which does help to accomplish your mission.

I hope this detail would help you!

however google hates duplicate content and has already panda update to check duplicate content.
don's copy if its not that much necessary. And if you want to paste some content to your blog then mention in the blog that these contents have been taken from such website. This will keep you safe from being a victim of duplicate content..

Hi Friend,,

Please don't go for anything that is copied. Because Google hates copied contents and can penalize your website. Moreover in the post era of Panda Update duplicate contents have to be avoided necessarily. If you copy some portion of contents from your web pages to blogs then it will be also considered as spam and hamper the website health in terms of keyword ranking & viability. We have already witnessed all those sites which have been penalized due to the toxic contents and lost all the keyword positions.
