I have already had windows internet explorer but just now, I put it to the recycle bin and deleted it. I tried getting internet explorer 9 but it said that it is still there. What do I do to fix this?

Go to control panel then Programs and Features option. Selcet internet explorer and click remove botton and then to next and next..

Internet Explorer is already installed feature that is provided by Microsoft OS by default. You can't uninstall it anyway, but you can upgrade it through internet from IE8 to IE9.

US Anti-trust against Microsoft IE was not for nothing, IE was so tightly integrated Windows XP will fail if you ever took it out and IE 8 is the most you can upgrade to.

The following instructions apply to both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
1.Click the Start button Picture of the Start button, type Programs and Features in the search box, and then click View installed updates in the left pane.
2.Under Uninstall an update, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section.
3.Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, click Uninstall, and then, when prompted, click Yes.
4.Click one of the following:
•Restart now (to finish the process of uninstalling Internet Explorer 9 and restore the previous version of Internet Explorer).
•Restart later
