Transfer Doman Name from Webs to Weebly builder? - Moriarty - 04-08-2014 07:12 PM
I have a website that I edit through Webs.com (very unresponsive, poor editor)
I have purchased the domain name and have had it for a while, but I want to switch hosts/builders.
How can I do this? I'm pretty computer savvy when it comes to taking them apart and putting them back together, but I'm not very good with websites or any of the different coding.

You will have to rebuild your website using the new website builder. If you have your own domain name, you will need to switch the nameservers it is pointing to - the new website builder/web host will provide you with that info. I am using ultimatewb - it is great. You might want to check that out too. There is a comparison chart there comparing wix, weebly, ultimatewb, and some other website builders. It can help you choose which is the best for you.
