where can i advertise my jewellery site? - CheapUniqueJewellery4u - 04-08-2014 07:14 PM

Is there any message boards that i can write about my stuff on that will then show up on search engines when the right words are searched? I have a blog on blogger.com but it doesnt get many views...i have my own site..www.amyegglestonejewellery.co.uk which gets a fair amount of views but is there any other ways to advertise it? without being classed as spamming? Any cheeky sly ways of getting the site noticed on other websites?

Polite, useful comments with your link included on blogs and forums discussing your field and on social bookmarking sites are tolerable ways to earn a tiny bit of search engine rank. You can submit to directories, though the golden age of web directories is long past, some still may improve your ranking.

You can find services on webmaster forums that offer to make numerous directory submissions for around $10.

I recently read about someone with a site in the competitive jewelry field who bought $500 in PPC traffic without getting one sale, it's tough out there competing against the monster sites.

Try creating an Etsy account, Facebook, Myspace and Twitter account. Social networking has really taken off and all of these are great venues for advertising. Alternatively, sign up at http://www.submitterbot.com
