Hello everyone,
I want to setup an online store where i will be selling my services(very limited).
Since the products(services) are very less there is no meaning in paying for a e-commerce script.
I searched a lot and short listed to Opencart,Zen cart and virtuemart(Joomla extension)
I heard Opencart has a lot of issues and it is not SEO friendly.
So help me out as I have nxt to little knowledge about setting up online stores

If you're only selling services you may want to consider a site like freelancer.com. You can create a profile and "bid" on projects through that site.
I don't have experience with Joomla but if that's what you're using a plug in might be an easy way to go. Zen Cart could be another good option depending on your set up. Have you scheduled a call with any of these companies? A brief chat with a sales rep may be just what you need to determine if their solution is what you need. It will also give you a feel for the kind of interaction you can expect when/if there are tech issues.

Opencart is Indeed SEO friendly and has features like URL re-writing built into it. Apart from which there are some good quality SEO plugins/ extensions available at a reasonable cost for advanced SEO. My website is built on OpenCart and i haven't had any problems so far. I selected Opencart because of its easy to learn backend system. Here are some high end sites built of opencart

did you try magento? else you can go for shopify which will cost you 800INR/month for 150 products.
