Should I get a website for my babysitting business? - Kolorful Artist - 04-08-2014 07:15 PM

I am 13, and I need some babysitting business!!! Because I live in a suburban town a little off from Chicago, I can't really get to much business by handing out flyers. There isn't a place where I can put a flyer in my area, but there is a school near by...

Should I get a website to bring up my chances for someone to want me to babysit?

It would have my prices, and a little about myself, so should I do it or would it not even be discovered by someone?

Any feedback would be helpful, I am desperate!!!!

( I can't get a care.com account because I am not 14, so that's no use...)

yes but definitely PUBLICIZE your website as much as possible!

a nice clean informative site would be a great anchor. then place yourself in all the local directories and free classifieds (online & hard copy).

as to the domain you want, have your parents register it. they will also probably have to create a hosting account. but it can all be done for under $30 a year

any other help, just ask.

If you are 13 I assume your parents would want you to stay pretty close to home when you babysit. A website will be read by ppl all over the world....maybe some other form of outreach like a sign on a bulletin board at the library?
