Is FB messenger's text messages 100% FREE in term of sending & receiving texts? -  §® The Heart Of Asia ®§ - 04-08-2014 07:16 PM I plan on to use FB messenger to substitute for phone text messages to save monthly extra cost (I'm not on a text plan & don't want to pay extra $ 0.20/text). - Apple al. - 04-08-2014 07:17 PM Hello. Im not using Fb but as far as I know, if you are subscribing your cellphone's internet, once charged - everything is free. I paid 20 dollars for 1 month internet and everything is free including Youtube, Yahoo Messenger etc. Good luck ![]() - Jai - 04-08-2014 07:26 PM It would depend on your service plan. Do you have a data plan for your phone? Using FB messenger will go against your allowed data usage. If you are unlimited then you are good to go. If you are restricted to a set amount it will count against that. If you don't have a data plan you are not going to be able use FB messenger at least not w/o finding an increased charge on your bill which of course will depend on your carrier. |
