People use facebook hacks for two things, stealing accounts and creating accounts. The more accounts you have the more people you can spam your pages too, its free advertising. Manually making accounts doesnt work because it is incredibly slow and they won't automatically have friends. A few facebook applications massively generate fake accounts as well. It is a very shady business and I would avoid it.

To feel elite. Actually it is not cool to hack facebook because there is this facebook money that people can buy at places. I do not know what $25.00 from buying a facebook card can give a person other than promoting their page. So if someone dumped $1000.00 into facebook credits and got themselves hacked then there is someone that wants to get their heath tested by an alercation.
