What do you recommend for a tablet? - Flamingokitty - 04-08-2014 07:23 PM

I'm not a fan of Apple products.

Under $300, wifi ready, 16GB+.

I will mostly use it for internet/social media, netflix, music, books, and for my 2yr old son.

Should I get a protection plan?

Thank you. Smile

i recommend this one. i have the 139 version and i love it. lightweight and easy to use.and with amazon prime you get a great library of free stuff to watch.as for the warranty,it may be a good idea. if you have a small child they may not be as careful with it, such as dropping it or spilling things on it. contact me if you need more help. jdbj32m@yahoo.com

The Galaxy tab has a great processor and is better than the iPad's I think.
Not to mention the screen offers higher quality video and game playback than the iPad.

The only plus on the iPad is that you have more apps to choose from.
But the Android Market keeps it simple and doesn't cram in as many fart apps as they can like the Apple App store.

So go with Galaxy tab if you want a faster processor and better video and gaming playback.
Or go with the iPad if you just want it for Apps.

ASUS Nexus 7, second generation (with Snapdragon processor, not Tegra 3)

... or ...

Kindle Fire HD/HDX, depending on if it fits your budget. I know the Nexus 7 does.
