Really want one!! She thinks it is something unfiltered like facebook, but I tried to explain to her that it is just a place where you can share funny pics with friends! Advice plzz!!!

Just make ur username something she would never guess. Looking people up on Instagram is hard, and not nearly as easy as facebook

Joe wants you to betray your mother. He is a bad advise giver.
When a parent makes this kind of rule it usually because she figures that it will be safer for you. Educate her on how it is safe and not [insert other danger here]. I've heard that it is awful easy to send nude selfies and other things that would frighten a mom & dad.
Although, instagram will probably not be fun in a few months anyway.
