How to block family from seeing posts on facebook? - Accident Prone - 04-08-2014 07:27 PM

I made a new facebook, one for friends only.
But every so often I hear my parents say "That post you did the other day was funny" How are they seeing my stuff still?
I have everything set to "friends" only.
Is it because my email is connected to the email I use for my family account?

its very easy, when you write your post then you see right sight bottom, (public or friend) has been select.. just change it
go to drop down menu, then select 'Custom' then You see These people or lists select there Specific People

Add Specific people, you want to show your post.

thats all

If they are friends or subscribed to any of your friends news feeds, then they can see whatever is on their friends timeline if the post is shared or liked. You can reverse this by going into the privacy settings in fb and setting your posts to only me, then you can share particular posts manually to whom you choose
