Long story short, someone turned off the cable/Internet for fios in my house so wifi and cable box aren't working. I know they did this in a matter of seconds. The router is working still. What am I looking for to turn it back on?

It's a Verizon phone call or service. Either they cut off service or the line was cut. Contact Verizon! Get a human on the phone. Keep pushing zero until they answer.
