companies always like "who just called me" advertise FREE when it is not. Always a charge.? - b - 04-08-2014 07:28 PM It seems to me that if they advertise "free' that is what it should be. AND everytime I put a number on it, they can't find the answer and I have lost my money until I call them and wait until they refund my card, for that "free" service. They should advertise that "after sale charge applies" How many agree? - ? - 04-08-2014 07:32 PM They do, in the fine print. Agree to *everything*, not just a sales pitch. - Jake - 04-08-2014 07:41 PM The Federal Trade Commission has specific guidelines for the use of free, though it seems to take thousands of blatant violations by a company to get them to act. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/guides/free.htm |
