How can I find people who are interested in learning NLP or Hypnosis online? - Chris H - 10-15-2012 08:38 PM

I'm promoting online courses to learn NLP and Hypnosis and am finding it really hard to find people who are interested.

I've posted ads, done some minor email marketing and linked it on my Facebook and Twitter. Is there anything else I can do?
@ gregg They're not my products; I'm promoting them to make commission, however the person is fully qualified. The [hypnosis] courses are accredited by the American Society of Hypnotists as well.

@ Garland Many thanks for your suggestions. I'll try the forum one first.

Well, your at a disadvantage there. How do you know that your Hypnosis works?

Hi Chris,

The first step is to build a list of people interested in your topic.

You do this by:
1. Creating a lead capture page with a valuable free giveaway like a free ebook, report, video or audio download. Examples might be, "Quitting Smoking Through Self Hypnosis" or "Using NLP To Improve Your Child's School Marks" or "How To Make A Living As A Hypnotist."

2. You make sure you have a way to track where each lead comes from. This tracking MUST track signups NOT just traffic.

3. You spend time in forums helping people out, making sure your signature line links to your lead capture page.

4. Advertise on sites that reach your target audience BUT track where each signup comes from so that you don't continue advertising where you aren't getting results.

Once people have joined your list for the free item, then you can promote your paid products to your list.

Here is a page I put together on Tracking Resources:

Here is a page I put together on Auto Responders you can use to build your list:

Hope this helps.
