I know that internal linking is important for user and also for search engine but I want to know how much it is important for site internal search. Either internal linking effects for site internal search or not

Please guide with some examples

Generally the benefit is limited, old fashioned link juice theory would suggest at best you could shift ranking from one page to another, anchor text in directory links might strengthen keyword ranking and may be the most un-suspicious place to employ anchor text.
