I have a question about facebook? - Maria - 04-08-2014 07:38 PM

when someone tries to sign into some one else's facebook account. sometimes facebook asks for a their birth date to make sure that they are not hackers.and if they answer incorrectly and fail to log in,the next time the real owner logs into her account will be informed of their effort.
my question is what if they know your birth date and answer correctly and get to your account.will the owner be informed as well? or facebook will get confident that they are no hackers and just doesn't inform the real owner after that?

it doesnt work like that users have security questions (not your DOB) if they answer they will email you a password reset and never provide access on screen

Don't worry dear,
Actually Facebook also given a login message security.
So those people get notification about someone login there account immediately that use this feature.
Hope this will help you.

There is no problem at all, Whenever unauthorized person login your Facebook account, the Facebook will send you the notification for your email. You may be change your password for security purpose.
