Facebook decided it was a good idea for pokes to send notifications.
And it's ANNOYING.
How can I disable this?

As far as my sources reach, you can't. It SUCKS. -.-

Click the notifications globe, then select "See All Notifications"
Go to anyones poke notification and click the remove x to the right.
Select 'Mark as spam'
Log out and back in and it should work fine.
This will stop pokes as notifications, but will not stop you from receiving pokes.
The down-side is that you have to do this, at least once, for each person that pokes you.
