I'd like to make an "Event" page on Facebook to advertise a sale. How do I do that?

To create an event, start by clicking the following link:
http://www.new.facebook.com/editapps.php#/editevent.php
For future reference if you would like to navigate to the page yourself:
- Login to Facebook
- Click on the Applications button on the bottom left of the page.
- Click on Events. (If the Events application does not appear here click on the Edit link. Then click on the Events link.
- Click the "Create an Event" link at the top right of the page.
Follow the prompts including all the relevant details. Once you have entered the details of the sale you will be prompted to create a guest list. You may then advertise the sale to your Facebook friends.
