out of 800 visitors, only 97 have gone to the main page.
i dont have a sidebar. but i put a link to the main page plus a few lines of explanation at the end of each post. what else can i do?

Hold a gun to their heads.
Explain why anyone would want to voluntarily click on your main page link. Seriously, what would be their motivation?

why do you carethat they do or do not go to your home page? they are coming to your site and obviously from search engine traffic which is good.
is your home page not linked from your inner pages? if you are trying to sell something, why not place the ads or links to it on the pages that are being visited?
