You will have to remove the network card. If it is built in to the computer, just disconnect the cable.

Some suggestions in increasing order of severity:

1. Disconnect it from the Internet. Remember both cable and wireless.
2. Remove the network card drivers.
3. Pour glue in the RJ45 ethernet socket. Snap off the wireless aerial.
4. Jump on it. Lots of times. With heavy shoes on.

If you just need to remove the access to internet but still use the LAN you can change the gateway of your network adapter to a fake GW (if it's 192.168.0.1 you can use 192.168.0.2) or change the DNS so it cannot resolve any address.

Yes and its quite simple to do uninstall your network drivers. In control panel go to hardware and sound under devices and printers click "Device Manager", a window will open up with a list of all the drivers and devices; look for Network Adaptors and click on it. You should see something like Ethernet Controller and if you have a wireless card there will also be something Wireless Lan. Back Click on both and uninstall.

Warning though after doing that and rebooting you will get a lot of error popup's for things trying to connect to the internet.

Make sure all your wires are plugged in.
