I've just set up a fan page for my website (business). As I currently understand, whenever anyone Likes my fanpage, they become a fan and there is a newsfeed notice to all their friends, much like if someone becomes a friend.
I'm really, really interested in the viral marketing potential. Is there anything else I can do to keep getting out there in front of my fans' friends?

You should buy real GeoTargeted facebook fans to makes your content viral. With real user, your content will spread effectively and you will get more traffic to your page.
