The massive marketplace for the bigger players educated enough to but direct from China is Alibaba.com, results would vary, dealing wit different individual manufacturers and wholesalers, and the Chinese view of contracts. Some of these suppliers also sell on the retail side Aliexpress.com where you might be able to buy samples.
