Facebook isn't a good place to show photos because it doesn't show a large format ones. How about flicker (paid account). http://www.flickr.com/little_pooky ?

Facebook does horrible, horrible things to your pictures when you upload them ... horrible compression algorithms ... urgh.

Just go to Flickr and start exploring.

The only thing that screams amateur more than Facebook would possibly be Myspace. Along with what it does to your photos which has been mentioned, is if you read the fine print, any photos you upload to the site gives FB the "right" to use keep and use them in any way they want. Even if you delete the photo from your page, it is never truly deleted from the site.

Get your photos at least to some place such as Flicker. FB is a social site that also has photos, it is NOT designed to be a photo sharing site.

Facebook is the most horrible site to store pics on. Their copyright is iffy and their jpg handling gives a new meaning to the term piss poor.

I use flickr as main storage: http://www.flickr.com/photos/j_wijnands

If you post your photos on facebook, they are free to use them in any way they please. Do you want your photography used without your permission?

Flickr is safer, you can even block people from downloading them, and it also doesn't make your photos look like low quality garbage.

Yeah, I agree with others. Not lots of people use Facebook for photography, and the size on Facebook isn't really great.Plus I don't like the photo viewer.

I do have a Flickr account. Most of my work is nature photography, which includes flowers, macro (insects,flowers..etc), wildlife (birds,insects,amphibians)..etc

Here is my photostream : http://www.flickr.com/photos/66188877@N03/

I think a few here likes Facebook too much that they're voting down the Flickr responses. Shame.
