Will importing posts from my other blog result in google penalising it? - Modris Kahn - 04-08-2014 07:59 PM

I have a blog picklestar.blogspot.com from which I need to import posts to webicat.blogspot.com. I've written some high quality posts and do not want them to go waste on that useless blog. I thought of importing them to my new blog. But will not importing them be like 'copy-pasting' someone else's post? Will it not result in google search penalizing me? I mean, is there a way to tell google that the posts are ACTUALLY mine?

All the answers will be highly appreciated. Thank You.

Regards.

There's no real penalty, they tend to give the originator of a piece more ranking 'credit'. But the occasional site with mostly unoriginal content does alright. It appears that the days of successful automated 'scarper' sites that grew themselves with 'found' content has past.
