What does Devlin mean in SEO jargon? My search results have Devlin as the top performing keyword? - Brandon Cohen - 04-08-2014 08:02 PM

Hi,

I was analyzing some of the statistics on my website (although they're miserable) I wanted to figure out which are the top performing keywords and see about getting started on adwords campaigns, PPC, etc. When going through the Search Engine Inquiries the search query "Devlin" received 101 queries, the following top performer "(not provided)" received 71 queries.

I'm at a loss because I pay $30/month for my e-commerce website which in my opinion should come with higher end statistic analysis, or maybe a version that I could understand! I look forward to hearing all of your opinions.

Thanks,

Brandon

Devlin is not SEO terminology as far as I know, usually the word appears on your site.

Google sometimes uses crazy synonyms Devlin could translate to another term appearing on your site (I can't imagine what).

You can add the advanced tracking software Google analytics for free, it allows you to track user behavior through your sales funnel, useful for identifying the pages with highest abandonment rates, etc.

Statcounter.com is a simpler free service that does show some webmaster stats like a map of the visitor locations on their control panel.

The word Devlin is not there in SEO terminology.
