If I send a message to someone on Facebook in their inbox and then after sending it immediately just deactivating my facebook again like it has been for a while. Will that person be able to at least look at the message just not respond to it? Or how does that all work?

The message will go to their inbox but they will not be able to reply to you if you have deactivated your account.
