I have recently started a new Counselling Business we offer online (SKYPE) and telephone counselling but I am finding it very difficult to create traffic to my website. I have done the usual word of mouth and have been crawled by google. I don't mind spending some money but don't want to spend a fortune if at all possible. I will put the link in so you can see it and maybe that will help with answers.

Hi Jason sorry I have no clue what you mean ha ha I built the site myself and have no clue what a meta tag is or any the other things you are talking about I will however look into this and try and sort that out Thank you so much for your advice

Tell everyone you can. Tell them to visit it, have a look. In Birmingham they have Billboards that you can advertise them. It's right by the motorway and about 4000+ cars go there everyday. Other cities like London, Manchester and others you can look in to. Create a Twitter, get some followers, advertise on there. Go on Facebook. Use all social networking sites you know. Just get the word out to everyone you know. Even go out to busy places and get leaflets for people passing by.

I had checked your website, it seems there is lack of content in your website, update unique content.
Update meta tags in your website, with keyword relevancy with your title, description and your website content. so that the search catch your website, also try to increase your backlinks, it should be quality backlinks, hope this helps.

Since your business revolves around your site, it's best to configure your content so that you are targeting keywords and long tail keywords for which people in your area (UK) are searching.
By doing this, you will get people who are searching terms like "UK business counseling" or "business counseling in Britain" in Google to come to your site. All the better for converting them into clients.
