Which is better product to go with Goggle Chromecast or Roku? - Jessica - 04-08-2014 08:05 PM

Trying to scale back household expenses and our Direct TV bill is an easy way to do this, so which is a better product and the best buy for our money? I an not an electronic tech gear wiz so I definitely need the easiest interface to use and want to be able to have as many apps as possible. Also my boys have an Xbox and a Wii U which I understand can access Netflicks and Hulu Plus is this an easy task? (That would help me not to have to purchase one or the other streaming device for each TV in the house). More than anything is I am going to like any of these products? What are the best apps to get? Is this going to freeze and hang up, or make my Wi-Fi connection slow? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Yes. You can just use the apps on the XBox or Wii.
Only you can tell if you will/may like to use and watch them.
Best apps are a matter of opinion.
Don't know if the game systems are going to hang or freeze. But I've never herd any complaints on that.
If you don't have a real good internet and Wi-Fi connection then it can hang or freeze up to re-buffer.

You can stream any file or link through Chrome Browser from your phone or Tablet (just use the media plugin for Chrome) to your HDTV with A Chomecast adapter. Works Great! (Over 1,000 Questions About Chromecast are answered on Amazon)
