For my upcoming music video I will be advertising a 10 second clip on YouTube. Roughly how much money needs to be spent for any impact to be made, and to make a return from sales?
Money is not an issue I just need to know how much; Anyone got any estimates?

The amount spent is academic - it's the quality of the clip that counts. A good clip gets people talking and word gets passed around that it's worth watching.
You could spend thousands on a lousy clip and it wouldn't do you any good.
I don't understand your question about sales. To make a profit on sales you simply need to bring in more money than you spent.
