They have free anti-virus software in the app store, but if you can't get into the app store just plug your phone into your computer via usb and scan it with the software from your computer

Get the Lookout Mobile Security App. Scans your phone, any apps you download, and stuff regularly on it's own. Backs up your phone. It's free, but has a premium upgrade but I never used it. It's offered for both android and iphone devices.
